One of the things that is really important to us here at Access Audio is education. We consider sound and lighting to be our craft, and we take the time to hone that craft. We spent some time on Friday with good folks from Midas, Turbosound, and Aeson to check out some of the newest products coming out.
We got some hands on time with the new Midas M32, one of only two in existence at this time. This console is generating a great deal of buzz, especially on the heels of the popular X32. The M32 promises to be just as exciting. It has some amazing features- the same Midas preamps as the Pro Series, tour grade construction, amazing IO. Definitely a console to be reckoned with at a very affordable price. We also learned some new features in the Pro Series. The Pro Series is a very powerful, yet easy to use, series of console that brings the legendary Midas sound to your production. Access Audio is your Cincinnati Behringer and Midas dealer. If you’re buying on the internet…you’re paying too much.
We also listened to the newest compact line arrays from Turbosound- the Flashline. It’s light, easy to rig, and sounds great. Flashline can be powered by the Turbosound branded Lab Gruppen power amplifiers with Lake Processing. We also set up the TFM-560, which is one of the finest sounding monitor wedges we’ve heard. We appreciate a company that insists that you hear their PA. Reading about a line array is one thing, Hearing it is another. Turbosound is worth taking a listen to.
Finally, we checked out some beautiful (and affordable) LED screens from Aeson. These screens set up easily and quickly and look awesome. For churches and venues looking at larger venue projectors, give us a call to discuss the possibilities of LED. Aeson is a cool company with great service.
All in all, a great day to learn about some new product. We’d love to share that knowledge with you as well. Contact us for more information. Access Audio is your source for sound reinforcement, lighting, and video sales and rentals!
