Last month, Access Audio provided audio, video, and lighting support for the 2020 Barefie Awards, Barefoot Proximity’s annual banquet at The Phoenix in downtown Cincinnati. We worked with Wolf & Bird Events to complement their art deco-inspired theme, reminiscent of The Great Gatsby. Part awards banquet, part after-party, our team was able to provide adaptable production support for each portion of the evening. On the audio front, we equipped the space with a Vue Audiotechnik al-4 Line Array package with HS-28 subs to ensure that presentations and dancing alike could be carried out smoothly, with a seamless transition between the two. For the awards lot of the night, Access Audio provided truss-mounted TVs to display categories, nominees, and winners, with Roland VR-50HD Switcher for easy directing between slides. The lighting took this event from memorable to unforgettable, thanks to Martin Viper Profile lights paired with Elation Rayzor 360z Moving Heads to set the ambiance on the dance floor following the awards ceremony, our GrandMA2 Ultra Light Console steering the ship.
